Capturing moments with artistic precision.
About Myself
I am an award-winning underwater and wildlife photographer based in Shellharbour, NSW, with a creative practice dedicated to showcasing the rich biodiversity of our oceans. My work celebrates the vibrant marine life of the Illawarra coast and beyond, using photography as both an artistic and educational tool to inspire curiosity, connection, and conservation.

For more than two decades, I have been capturing the underwater world across destinations including the Great Barrier Reef, the Red Sea, Truk Lagoon, Komodo, Raja Ampat, Thailand, and the Philippines. Yet it is the waters of Shellharbour that hold the strongest connection for me. Here, I focus on bringing attention to the intricate beauty of local marine species, their dazzling colours and ornate patterns, which I often describe as the “jewels of the sea.”

Beyond my personal practice, I also work as a VET trainer and mentor, supporting aspiring photographers to develop their technical skills, creative voice, and environmental awareness.

Mission
My images are designed to transport viewers into this immersive environment, offering a sense of calm and wonder even to those who may never dive beneath the surface. Through creative lighting and careful composition, I aim to evoke positive emotions, spark contemplation, and highlight the mysteries of marine life.
Vision
I see my role as both artist and educator, using photography not only as a form of expression but also as a pathway to connection and learning. With my photography I encourage a greater appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us and reinforces the importance of protecting it for future generations.
